My new project...

Hi again! I'm back to bloggy land to show everyone what I've been working on the last week or so. It's super cute, fun, and relatively easy to make. It has taken me a few days to post this as I have been trying to figure out how to add the gadgets to my site. Some things just weren't working, but with the help of my mother-in-law, Shirley, I have finally added the MOST important gadget so I can maybe (hopefully) have a few followers eventually. This is all new to me and I am working on it, so if my blog looks a little plain, I apologize for that. Still new to bloggy land here. Now, my latest little project I found at The DIYdish. As soon as I saw it, I hade to make one. Here she is:
Isn't that great! I love dress forms and when I saw this, I had to have one of my own, and so I made it! I love her and am very proud of this little accomplishment. So with that, I do plan to share. My mother-in-law, Shirley is going to be celebrating her one year "blogiversary" on February 14th and is planning a giveaway! You can check her out at here. What makes me more excited is I will be involved in that, too! One lucky follower wil receive, from me, one of these sweet Dress Form pincushions. Now what is not shown in the picture above is the dress form in the giveaway will include a broach filled with emery powder to sharpen your pins and needles! I am excited to be part of a giveaway after just starting my blog. Check back for updates and info on the Blogiversary giveaway in the next few weeks and I will also be posting a photo of the pincushion to be offered in the giveaway. Hope to see you around bloggy land, and if you stop by, please let me know you did by leaving a comment:)

    1. Hi Anna and thank you for visiting and becoming only my 3rd follower! (lol) No seriously, thank you. Thank you for liking my pincushion, but also thank you for noticing what I call my "Paris" fabric, it's actually called "French Stamps". I believe its home decor fabric, it would make great pillows and that was my plan originally but I instead made an ironing pad with most of it and shared a bit with my MIL. I have some left, maybe still could make a pillow! I found a website where you can get it here: http://www.premierprintsfabric.com/FRENSTMPOXNA.shtml...Thank you again for visiting!
