I'm here from Simple Sew and wanted to tell you Hi and I look forward to reading/followng your blog. "Gifted" is quite the compliment from a mother-in-law! lol
HI LJ! Thanks for stopping by! My MIL is very sweet, but is also excited she has a cohort in all this...LOL! Thank you for following and i will do the same in a day or so....VERY BUSY today! Again, thank you for stopping by:)
Hi Erica! Until three days ago I stayed at home with my two toddlers - kudos to you for getting some "mommy time" in! I know it can be hard to balance everything (and also hard to not try to do every cool thing you see in bloggy land - there are so many creative people out there!!!). Hopefully your kiddies will pick up some creative inspiration from you. My little peeps love buttons, fabric, pins and needles, etc. My six year old keeps bugging me to let him sew on the machine. (I taught him to iron at age 4, and he loves to sew). I am working fulltime now, but if you want to take a look at some of the things I've done with my kids you can visit my blog. Hi Caren and thank you for stopping by! I'm sure my babies will definitely pick up creativity from myself AND their grandmother. She loves to play with them and let them explore her sewing room. My son loves to play with her buttons and my lil girl loves to play with the fabric. My son is 3 and wants to sew, but I think I'll let his grandmother teach him the basics first. She has more patience than i do when it comes to those things. i will definitely stop by your blog and follow, but in a day or two. VERY BUSY today! lol. Again I appreciate you taking a look!
Welcome to blog world, yes you are very lucky to have a MIL who supports what you do, my MIL says my sewing is silly and a waste, sigh, wish I had yours. Can't wait to see what you do in the future!
I don't understand that logic of sewing being sill and a waste. But different strokes for different folks, I guess. If my mother was close by, she would be one of my cheerleaders, too! Thanks for stoppnig by, Mara!!
We all need new friendly followers when we start out so I will follow you! I see you have Alyssa of Pile O Fabric button she is a great teacher! Hope you enjoy your new blog!
I am enjoying my blog, but things get so crazy around here and i have deadlines coming up that i drive myself crazy not being able to do more with it than i want. Thanks for stopping by!
I am collecting fabric for my first quilt and as soon as I have enough, I will start it. It will be for me and I'm getting anxious! Thanks for stopping by!
It's so nice to be able to be a part of my first blog hop and I havent started my lady yet. Still trying to figure out how to get creative with it. Hope you have fun doing it, too and thanks for stopping by!
